[OpenAFS] VShutdown?

I've now had my AFS server silently disappar ttwice in the last week -- the
only thing out of the ordinari is that the last line in Filelog.old refers
to VShutdown.

I can't find any documentation on VShutdown -- any idea what might be
calling it?
