Tried that. I ran rpm -ql kernel-headers-2.4.2-2. Got the following
candidates :

/boot/kernel.h-2.4.2 (does not look like it, but still tried it)
/usr/include/asm
/usr/include/linux

configure still chokes (tried all three).

Also tried /usr/src/redhat, but that also fails.
