[OpenAFS] openafs problem on Solaris 8

In the past, I used to have openafs (1.0) working on Solaris 8, after
applying Chas Williams' patch. Recently after applying the kernel
patch #108528-04, I find that openafs (even I tried 1.0.1) no longer
works. Basically, it could still mount the Cell volume. But when accessing
a file in the volume, it gives a kernel crash:

panic[cpu0]/thread=f6594ce0: BAD TRAP: type=9 (Data fault) rp=fbfe5644 addr=c mmu_fsr=326 rw=1 occurred in module "unix" due to a NULL pointer dereference

It is on a SS20 platform, while the package was compiled by Workshop 5.0.
Have anyone experienced this problem? Pointers are much appreciated.
Thanks.

Dominic
