hi, http://www.ssh.com/products/ssh/administrator24/Pluggable_Authentication_Modules__PAM_.html gives a good doc to get ssh running with pam. following those instructions and inserting pam_afs.so for ssh in /etc/pam.conf makes it work with afs out of the box. berny
