We have AFS 3.6 on two IBM RS/6000 servers running AIX 4.3.3.
We recently compiled an OpenAFS 1.1 on a third server, a Dell
Precision 420 with RedHat Linux 7.1, kernel 2.4.3-12.
'vos syncvldb' gives a segmentation fault on our Linux system:

$ vos syncvldb claymore
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

More info about our setup:
$ uname -a
Linux claymore 2.4.3-12 #1 Fri Jun 8 15:05:56 EDT 2001 i686 unknown
$ gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.96/specs
gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-85)

Any advice on how to fix the problem?
