Hi everybody,

=09sorry for boring you again, but I'm in trouble... I'm running OpenAFS =
on=20
several Mandrake Linux machines without problems, but now I have to setup=
 AFS=20
on some Debian Linux boxes, too.

(I have to say that, while I have quite some experience with RedHat in th=
e=20
past and Mandrake more recently, I'm an absolute beginner at Debian).

I have installed Woody and it's openafs-* deb packages; then I have built=
 the=20
kernel modules and started the AFS client. Using "klog" I can get a token=
 and=20
access the files on AFS.

So far, so good.

Then I set up the NIS; no problems, either.

Of course now I have to set up PAM for users authentication... and here c=
omes=20
the troubles! :-(

On Debian packages there seems to be no "pam_afs.so" module, which is wha=
t I=20
have used on the other boxes for the authentication! :-/ :-?

Our cell is served by an IBM AIX server running Transarc AFS stuff, and t=
here=20
is no Kerberos V to use, as it seems required by Debian.

What can I do?

Thanks a lot in advance for any hint.

Ciao e a presto,
