[OpenAFS] Newbie: Problems connection to my new cell: /afs: Operation timed out.

If your Mac works with ThisCell set to something else, and your
Linux server works with ThisCell set to itself, then that implies
that your Mac cannot talk to your Linux server.
Make sure you don't have any iptables set on your Linux box that
might be blocking AFS...
