[OpenAFS] Can't get libafs-2.4.7-10smp.mp.o by compiling openafs-1.2.2a source code

I got a big headache when compiling the source code of openafs-1.2.2a on a
server. I could not find the directory
"dest/root.client/usr/vice/etc/modload" when compiling finished ,that means
that I can not get the important module libafs-2.4.7-10smp.mp.o which is
needed for installing afs.

My enviroment is :
a pc server
red hat 7.2(kernel 2.4.7-10smp)

I have no idea about it,please help me.
