Funny you should mention that.  Just yesterday I was thinking
wouldn't it be nice if the AFS administrators class that Transarc
used to give still existed somewhere.  I just hired a new sysadmin
and would love to send him to that class to get him jump-started
on learning AFS administration.

What are other groups doing when they hire new sysadmins?
Insisting on prior experience as an AFS admin?  In-house training?
Point 'em at the docs and tell them to start reading?  Even for
someone with good unix admin skills there's still quite a bit of
information to be assimilated here.
