Hi,
Are these two versions of AFS backward compatible? I have an AFS
server machine running the IBM version (Solaris 2.6) and two client
machines running OpenAFS (Linux). I'm trying to move the server
processes from the Solaris machine to one of the Linux machines. Is
this at all possible? I am getting errors such as:
Inconsistent Cell Info on server
u: problems with host name Ubik init failed
vlserver, ptserver, buserver repeatedly failed to start, perhaps missing
executable.
VL_RegisterAddrs rpc failed; will retry periodically (c
ode=3D363546, err=3D4)ptserver: problems with host name Ubik init failed
^Merver: ptserver: can't find any Kerberos keys, code =3D 70354689,
ignoring
vlserver: Ubik init failed with code 5385
The CellServDB files match on all 3 machines. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks
