Hi Derek

I tried to vos zap the volume but no luck (see output below). I also tried
to force the vos zap no luck either. Interesting there is no entries for
the volume in the vldb. I was wondering if the -oktozap option in salvager
may help me.

# vos zap -server afs-01 -partition /vicepa -id 536870916 -localauth -verbose
Warning: Entry for volume number 536870916 exists in VLDB (but we're
zapping it anyway!)
Could not start transaction on volume 536870916
Volume needs to be salvaged
Error in vos zap command.
Volume needs to be salvaged

# vos zap -server afs-01 -partition /vicepa -id 536870916 -localauth
-verbose -force
vos: forcibly removing all traces of volume 536870916, please wait...failed
with code 2.

  #vos listvldb -server afs-01 -localauth | grep 536870916
  #vos listvldb -server afs-02 -localauth | grep 536870916
