I saw at least one post mentioned this before: while running /etc/rc.d/init.d/afs stop, the system just got hung and had to be power-cycled to get it back. I think this happens when Linux is trying to unload ibafs-2.4.9-13-i686.o but not completely sure. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Or what exactly is happening? Thanks much. Haichuan
