Hi all...
Having problems now...
I installed the following packages:
* openafs-1.2.2-rh7.2.1.i386.rpm
* openafs-client-compat-1.2.2-rh7.2.1.i386.rpm
* openafs-kernel-1.2.2-rh7.2.1.i386.rpm
* openafs-kernel-source-1.2.2-rh7.2.1.i386.rpm
* openafs-krb5-1.2.2-rh7.2.1.i386.rpm
That didn't seem to work... I have afs listed as a startup service in
serviceconf but it doesn't seem to start - not listed under ps aux.
I think I configured my /usr/vice/etc/CellServDB
and ThisCell and cacheinfo correctly.
However, the files listed in /usr/vice/etc/modload/libafs*.o
are for kernel version 2.4.9-13 and I have kernel 2.4.7-10.
So I assume I need to get versions of those files for my kernel.
So I downloaded openafs-1.2.2a-src.tar.gz and did ./configure with that.
I had to use the --with-afs-sysname i386_linux24 switch.
But it gives this error:
configure: error: no source file config/Makefile.yes.in
I have a file called "Makefile.i386_linux24.in" in the config dir. Why
would it be looking for one with "yes" in it? Could be a bug in the
config script?
I don't have my kernel headers on my system but it doesn't seem to be
complaining about that.
Any ideas?? I've run out of ideas. :(
