I am using the client software for openafs without incident on my two Solaris 8 on x86 boxes (a regular box and a laptop). I forget which port of openafs I compiled (with SUn's cc) but the results are in /afs/cs.uwm.edu/sunx86_58/usr/afsws. I think it is 1.2.3 I haven't compiled since then because of a lack of access to the sun compiler. (They want $XK where X > 4). John Boyland
