[OpenAFS] Global mappings in XP

Hi,


    I recently started using OpenAFS under Windows XP (Self Compiled 1.2.5) 
and I've had a problem with mapping global drives. I've discovered that unless 
the afs service (afsd_service.exe) is started (or restarted) from the taskbar 
icon, the global drives are not mapped correctly. If I don't restart it, 
everything works fine, except that my global mappings don't appear.  Has 
anyone else run into this problem and are there any suggestions on how to fix 
it ?
