[OpenAFS] AFS and Checkpoint

Hello,

Many users experince the slowness of the network, it takes 3 minutes to
launch xmaple ( an application people use here) inside of the firewall
instead of 7 seconds out
side of the firewall. I did a lot of testing recently, I found the
firewall hardware it self is OK to handle the traffic here, but somehow
can not work with AFS well.  Does any one have experince with this ? Is
there any paramter I can configure to make the firewall work better with
AFS?
