No, I've heard that openldap is very slow. Really slow. tinyldap is much
faster but without write-support.
We do not want to use Microsoft's ActiveDirectory LDAP for our Unix-stuff
I guess the problem is LDAP. Even Oracle is not able to provide a fast
LDAP-server. As far as I know the problem is to handle the structure via
SQL. A common solution is to hold a complete map in RAM.
Am I right?
