Yes, but that doesn't mean we should let ourserves get screwed all-around.

Particularly, the ideal case is that current 2.4 kernels and particularly
RedHat get one hook, and 2.5 kernels and whenever interesting pullups from
2.5 to 2.4 happen get another.
