Raymond,

Depending on your time frame you might want to set up a test cell before
inflicting AFS on your users. AFS is a great solution for distributing
home directories and software, but it requires careful planning so you
don't end up with a messy deployment.

If your users are used to standard ufs type filesystem semantics, ie:
mode bits and file permissions, it might take some time (and dare i say
it "training") to get them used to tokens and directory ACLs...

AFS is so much more than a simple network filesystem, If you are missing
some basic understanding of how AFS works, i would suggest reading over
the IBM/Transarc manuals -or- the "Managing Afs: The Andrew File
System" book by Richard Campbell (isbn: 0138027293)
