I moved to OpenAFS with I upgraded to OSX 10.3 (previously used ARLA)
since OpenAFS appears to work correctly with the FINDER. Today I have
started to use TeXshop - this is an interface to LaTeX. When you press
the "Typeset" button - the first step is that the open file containing
all the tex info is saved - overwriting the previous file - this is
followed by running pdflatex. It appears that a kernel panic happens
in this first step of saving the file (on reboot one finds the previous
file).
If I look in the panic.log I find the following..
this seems a repeatable problem - well it has happened twice doing the
same operation - the first time I try to "typeset" everything appears
to work correctly.. the second time the kernel panic happens
   Any help with this appreciated
