Even if it is only the client that has the preemptible patches applied?

Hmm.. This is no option for us, because we are developing audio
applications for which low latency is essential. The preemptible
patches are included with the 2.5.x kernel. Does this mean OpenAFS
doesn't work with the 2.5.x kernel either?

I would hate to have to discard OpenAFS because if this :-(
