[OpenAFS] OpenAFS on Linux 2.5.x

I was looking through the 2.5 status list recently:

And there was an entry for "Andrew File System (AFS) support" in 2.5.43. 
This led me to believe that AFS support in 2.6 wasn't going to be a problem. 
   Am I wrong on this?
