I assume you have something like /filestore with lots of files in it.
You cannot "import" that directly. You can copy it though. Just make the
server an AFS client and
cp -a /filestore/* /afs/your.cell/filestore
(make sure there's an appropiately large volume mounted at
/afs/your.cell/filestore )

Or what data are you worried to loose?
