Yes : I adapted exactly  Doug Engert's  patch to openafs-1.2.9
(see: /afs/rrz/src/openafs/RRZK/INST/Inst-openafs-1.2.9/patchdir/osi_vfsops.sun4x_58.patch)
to generate the said 'patched source'. I hinted to the compilation tree.
Re-creating a patch from a patched source wont add something. But using
the email channel additionally to AFS isn't bad because this is urgent.
