[OpenAFS] WinXP OpenAFS authentication to Linux AFS Server

Hi Everyone,

I seem to be having trouble only with authentication (klog) from a
Windows XP (or W2K) OpenAFS client to a Linux OpenAFS server...

The Basics:

* New Win XP Pro OpenAFS install with current critical updates from Microsoft.
* New OpenAFS server install on vanilla Red Hat 9.0 otherwise unmodified
  from the iso images.
* OpenAFS 1.2.9/Red Hat 9.0 server
* OpenAFS 1.2.8a/Windows XP client
* I'm using the kaserver from the OpenAFS distro on the server

The Problem:

* I can klog and get tokens from remote Linux OpenAFS clients on other
  networks. 'Works like a charm in all ways in the Linux World, but...

* From any Windows XP or W2K OpenAFS client, however, (on the same network
  as well as from remote networks), I can mount AFS partitions/volumes,
  access anything open to system:anyuser, and I can authenticate with
  the admin token from the Windows OpenAFS Control Center.

* The only thing that doesn't work is Authentication from the Windows
  OpenAFS Client--this includes the commandline klog.exe program, and
  the Wake AFS-Kerberos utility for "Login to an AFS Cell Directly"

* The failure message is the "Authentication Server was unavailable" dialog.

Can anyone offer a suggestion as to why AFS authentication would fail
from Windows clients, but work just peachy from Linux clients and from
the Windows OpenAFS Control Center?

Thanks!

-Dave
