This is probably the bug we've been tracking where not all threads die,
but if
a) you start bosserver inside a ulimit -c unlimited
and
b) you patch your kernel to give useful cores

you get a core despite the process not dying. Well, even with just a you
do, but you get a *useful* core with b.
