I'm experiencing some clock lossage on my client. It's a Debian 3 box
running ntpd from the ntp-simple package. I'm using the /etc/ntp.conf
and /etc/ntp/keys from work. ntpd reports no errors. I'm running afsd
with the -nosettime option. The clock on my client box has lost a
couple seconds in the past 12 hours or so. In what may be related
news, I occasionally get this:

May 11 23:30:16 mi kernel: afs: Lost contact with file server 142.103.20.15 in cell cs.ubc.ca (all multi-homed ip addresses down for the server)

Any suggestions?
