[OpenAFS] AFS Encryption

Hello,

I have just recently learned about AFS, and I what I have read so far I 
have not seen much about how each file is transmitted.  I am wondering, 
is it possible to get AFS to 'send' everything encrypted?  For example, 
you can get ldap + ssl so that everything is encrypted, can this be done 
with AFS, or is encryption already implemented?

As, I am not part of the mail listing, a private replay would be greatly 
appreciated.
