Hi
I have used openafs for a fairly long time (for an AFS client), and when
I got tired of going through the source upgrades, I created a short
script for myself (around the time of 1.2.4, after consulting the
documentation) :
./configure --with-afs-sysname=i386_linux24 --enable-transarc-paths
--with-linux-kernel-headers=/usr/src/linux
# Goes through.
make
# Goes through
make check
# Fails, as it seems that this target has been removed.
make dest
#Goes through
make install
# Goes through
cd i386_linux24/dest/root.client/usr/vice/etc/
cp -rp modload/ /usr/vice/etc/
# Goes through
cp -rp C /usr/vice/etc/
# Goes through
cp -p afs.rc /etc/init.d/afs
# Goes through
cp -p afs.conf /usr/vice/etc
# Goes through
cd /lib/security
cp /usr/local/src/openafs/openafs-1.2.11/i386_linux24/dest/lib/pam_afs.*
.
Fails. Have the names of these libraries been changed ? If so, to what ? I
can't seem to find anything in the installation instructions that refers to
this.
Thanks,
MS
