I've tried editing osconf.m4 in several ways, including replacing all -O2
references to -O0 and also adding CFLAGS.  I'm operating on the i386_linux*
case.  Is this correct?  regen.sh still populates CFLAGS with "-g -O2".
Sorry if I'm missing something obvious....
