Excellent!

So far so good... I just cat'd 11 1 gig files:

base:/afs/acr/sandbox/hotel/bb# time cat random* > /dev/null

real    17m55.607s
user    0m2.460s
sys     1m17.480s
base:/afs/acr/sandbox/hotel/bb# time cat random* > /dev/null

real    3m49.098s
user    0m1.360s
sys     1m10.830s


...and fs getcachparms:

AFS using 11534385 of the cache's available 50000000 1K byte blocks.


Looks good.  I'll do more extensive testing.

If there are no bugs as a result of this patch, the only issue I have
left is that extra step required to extract _divdi3 from libgcc.a.  Is
there a way to accomplish that through compiler flags/Makefile
modifications?

Also, I'll look into producing patches against 1.2.11 if anybody is
interested.
