vos zap root.afs.readonly, the only RO volume on the sync server?
And re-replicate.

so the replica is bad or non-existant. rereplicate it.

i don't believe you. vos zap the one you have, and rereplicate. if it fails
to vos zap, well, then maybe you have some garbage on the disk which it's
not cleaning up.

and you're looking for problems you don't have. fix the one you do have
first before you worry about anything else.

and don't worry about the dbsys1 files. just don't.
