I have the same problem with my machine:
	linux-2.6.11.5
	openafs-1.3.81
	gcc-3.3.2
	glibc-2.3.2
This is a self-made system using unmodified sources.

The three commands "df", "du" and "fs getcache" are showing different
results (unit=1k)
	df: 669132 of 1035692
	fs: 432785 of 500000 (I reduced the max size to avoid problems)
	du: 2520660 (!!!)

And the cache partition is ext2.
