[OpenAFS] client openafs with OSX 10.4

I just upgraded a macosx box to 1.4 Tiger (developer preview 8A425).
then I re-installed the binaries for 10.3 (OpenAFS-1.3.81.pkg.tar.gz).
The kernel extension seems not to work ...

I tried to recompile from sources, but I'm getting errors.
Anybody has experience of a 1.3.81 client working with Tiger ?
