[OpenAFS] Account never locked from Windows OpenAFS client

Server: OpenAFS 1.2.11  on Redhat 3EL
 
Client:  1.3.77 on Windows 2000
 
 
I observed that wondows OpenAFS client users never get locked eventhough they cross the maximum limit set for consecutive unsuccessful authentications. However, the same user id getting locked from UNIX openAFS clients. 
 
Is it known bug? Please share your experience.
