i have a patch that let me use/create a 25GB cache.  you could go
bigger but you have to keep an eye on -files, cachesize (in 1k blocks)/10.
the more -files the more memory in the kernel you need.  so if you do
make a largish cache you need to increase -chunksize and limit -files
to some sane value.
