[OpenAFS] 1.3.87 Client hangs

1. The NTFS files came from an existing 1.2.11 AFS volume. I'm trying to
move from a 1.2.11 fileserver to 1.3.87 fileserver.
2. AFS is used to back up Windows boxes
3. I'm doing a vos dump of the existing 1.2.11 filesystem and will try a
restore to the 1.3.87.

Ted:

Am I reading this correctly?

You are running your AFS fileservers on Linux and you are using a NT file
system to store your AFS volumes?

If so, why in the world would you do that?

(btw, NT chkdsk misses large numbers of errors that are picked up by other
tools such as those distributed with Partition Magic.)
