[OpenAFS] "lost contact with VL server" spam

Here's another little thing that has been bugging me.  Is there a way to
disable the log/console spam regarding the VL server's unreachability
when the network interface is disconnected?  I get two identical messages,
repeated at intervals of approximately 5 seconds, which fills up the logs
while at the same time making console usage very annoying.  Maybe it's
because some daemon is repeatedly trying to access a file on AFS when it
is not available?
