Uhm...   kinda lost here.  I *do* have OpenSSI-1.2.2 based on the RH9
kernel.

Basically I have an FC2 machine, installed the stable version of OpenSSI
on it (that is version 1.2.2) Since the cluster is running the OpenSSI
kernel I need to compile the AFS libs for that kernel.
