Using 1.4.0rc8 with this patch:

I was able to run a 9,000,000 kbyte cache on an AIX 5.2 machine without
crashing the machine (a problem we had previously seen when trying this
without the patch).

Curiously, while running a lot of "cat" commands to fill the cache and
make sure the machine didn't crash, the reported cache usage (fs
getcache) was never observed to be above about 8,500,000.

This makes me wonder whether it is safe to set cacheinfo to the size of
the partition? For initial tests I had set it to 90% of the partition
size. Is there code in afsd now (perhaps due to the extra patch)
that assumes cacheinfo contains the actual partition size? That would
be a very nice human-interface enhancement.
