[OpenAFS] Installing 1.4.0.rc6 version of OpenAFS

No, it's not missing..  The Red Hat 2.4 kernels share the /build 
directory..  So
the RPM assumes you always have the base kernel installed as well as the smp
kernel.

Yes.. It has to be truncated for 2.4 kernels

Okay, do this:

ln -s 2.4.22-1.2199.nptl_afs_ssi_9smp 
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2199.nptl_afs_ssi_9

Then re-run the rpmbuild.
