Hi!
Just a quick question:
I installed a windows 1.4.0RC7 OpenAFS Client and a 1.4 RC4 fileserver
on Linux, both connected via a 100 MBit network. But upload via AFS just
reach 3 MB/sec and the CPU of the client is under heavy load.
- From linux 1.4.0RC4 Clients I get 8-9 MB/sec.
Is that the limitation of the smb usage? Any hints for me to get more
speed? Will a switch to GBit extend the speed (although I don't believe
in this)?
And as release notes tells me, windows client doesn't support files >2
GB, I can copy files with 5 GB without any problems to afs and from afs...
Cya
Lars
