[OpenAFS] permission weirds

I installed the rpm on redhat (RHEL4). It seems okay for the most part, but one big problem. an 'ls' gives this weird permissions:
drwxrwxr-x 2 edith darkstar 2048 Jul 18 12:27 Darkstar
?--------- ? ? ? ? ? Defines.hp
?--------- ? ? ? ? ? Defines.lnx
?--------- ? ? ? ? ? Defines_MDAS.sol10
drwxrwxr-x 2 edith darkstar 2048 Jun 12 16:17 include
drwxrwxr-x 2 edith darkstar 2048 Jun 27 15:57 Kwik
drwxrwxr-x 2 edith darkstar 2048 Jun 27 15:57 kwikkat
Directories are okay, I can cd into them. Files are bad. I can't 'cat' them.
Following rpm's were installed:
openafs-client-1.4.1-rhel4.2
openafs-kernel-1.4.1-2.6.9_34.EL_2
openafs-debuginfo-1.4.1-rhel4.2
openafs-compat-1.4.1-rhel4.2
openafs-kernel-smp-1.4.1-2.6.9_34.ELsmp_2
krbafs-1.2.2-6
openafs-1.4.1-rhel4.2
openafs-kpasswd-1.4.1-rhel4.2
krbafs-devel-1.2.2-6
openafs-krb5-1.4.1-rhel4.2
openafs-authlibs-1.4.1-rhel4.2
I could really use some help. Thanks.
