i am reading that NFS is worakable , but not recommended by oracle (for RAC) and certainly not a good solution. It can't do what SAN can (but SAN is $$$$$$$$$$$) I am thinking .... for a small DB, and given the AFS local RAM cache, could anyone comment on how sucessful Oracle RAC would be on a AFS? if it worked, boy it would be nice! -tl
