[OpenAFS] File corruption, 1.4.1 on linux

On all the files I've examined sofar, the difference between corrupt and ok 
seems to always be this same range, if that gives anybody a clue.

I've moved the volume in question to a different server (still 1.4.1) to try 
and eliminate my own hardware or file system problems.
