Odd..   I wonder if there's something about the RPM itself and SElinux
where it's trying to do something and didn't like it?   Is it repeatable?
If you remove the kernel module RPM and re-install it do you get the
same error?  Does anything appear in the syslog or dmesg?

I'm afraid I don't have a RHEL5b1 system here to test with myself.
