Hello all,
I created an account, lets say user37
but when I try to change the owner of a file (in the volume created for
that user) for example with
chown user37.faculty test.tst
chown: `user37.faculty': invalid user
when I do:
# pts e -na user37
Name: user37, id: 1337, owner: system:administrators, creator: admin,
membership: 1, flags: S----, group quota: 20.
and:
# pts m -na kstewart
Groups user37 (id: 1337) is a member of:
faculty
if I try an su user37
# su user37
su: user user37 does not exist
Any ideas about what is going on here ?
(oh and the user is in ldap, I checked that)
thanks,
Ron

It's is not, it isn't ain't, and it's it's, not its, if you mean
it is. If you don't, it's its. Then too, it's hers. It isn't
her's. It isn't our's either. It's ours, and likewise yours and
theirs.
