[OpenAFS] openafs 1.4.6 ptserver on alpha segfault

Hi,

Upgrading openafs server from 1.4.4 to 1.4.6 on linux alpha results in 
ptserver segfault with signal 11. ptserver is not able any more to 
synchronize the prdb from primary db server with 1.4.6 on amd64.

ptserver segfault in the middle of sync

If I replace the ptserver with 1.4.4 version (the rest is 1.4.6), it works.
Were there any changes in ptserver code, which might behave differently for 
64bit alpha and 64bit amd64?
