[OpenAFS] package date problem

   Hello all,
             I am getting problems with on openafs Fedora 9
package:

  kmod-openafs-1.4.7-1.1.2.6.25_14.fc9.i686

  This seems to have some future date? I now have only later
kernels, but yum keeps trying to re-install this rpm, and then
sees that the kernel is out of date and stops. But it means there is
always an upgrade pending.
    I tried
exclude=kmod-openafs-1.4.7-1.1.2.6.25_14.fc9.i686
but this doesn't seem to work. Can anyone tell me how to mask it - or
can  we remove/redate the old rpm?
