[OpenAFS] volumes are not accessable

Dear Simon,
              No there is nothing useful in the logs.
Yes the storage are connected but vicepc lost all the data
 . There was about 600 GB worth of data. disappeared=20
 from vicepc without
 any indication nor hardware failure?  =20

afs1.hep.man.ac.uk is returning 'No such vnode' when the client tries
to fetch the root directory of that volume.

Is that fileserver logging anything useful? Is the storage connected
to that fileserver all functioning correctly?
